This is a very personal story about a spiritual journey to Athos. Thoughtfully, attentively and as openly as possible, the author records all his impressions and discoveries - from the subtlest smells and various kinds of silence to meetings with the mountaineers, who turn the idea of earthly logic. A place where you can meet an angel on the path and not be surprised - this is how the Holy Mountain appears in this heartfelt testimony.
