"Friends are known in trouble" - this winged expression belongs to the "father's fables" of Aesop.
Br 2600 years ago, the slave Aesop created more than 400 fables. All this time they were retold by word of mouth, and in this way we have about 100 works. The latest retelling of Aesop's fables for this book was made by a real storyteller, "Ukrainian nightingale" Alexander Vyzhenko. He retold 35 fables!
Children studied the works of Aesop in the time of Aristophanes in Athens. Much has changed since then, and human defects have remained the same. Why so? Maybe because no one read Aesop's fables to many people as children? ;-) This collection can be a "vaccination" against greed, laziness, arrogance, ingratitude and other vices. The power of Aesop's fables is not in the instructive conclusions, but in the "Aesopian language", allegorical images of animals: the wolf embodies cruelty, the fox - cunning, the eagle - nobility, and so on. It is in this form that the idea becomes clear to the child.
