"Shores of the Twelve Waters" is a book entirely devoted to the reportage legacy of Alexander Maryamov - an extremely observant traveler, journalist and screenwriter. Readers will find here: some materials published in the magazine "New Generation"; fragments of the unfinished reportage story about Odessa "Free Port"; a series of travel essays "Airfields and Ports", where descriptions of Persia occupy a prominent place, where the author traveled by plane of the newly opened route Kharkiv - Tehran; and most importantly - a travel report "Shores of the Twelve Waters", the circulation of which was destroyed, except for one copy, "a book rarer than" Primer "Fedorov", in the words of the author.
