Ann of the Poplar Poplars

After graduating from Redmond College, Anne Shirley became principal of Summerside School. She rents a room in the old house of the Poplar Poplar. Her old friend and lover, Gilbert Blythe, continues her studies at the university's medical department. However, Anne had no idea that the local elite, someone from the Pringle family, was running for school principal.

A covert war is being waged against the young principal. Anne is even thinking of leaving her favorite town. But fate decides otherwise - the girl suddenly finds true friendship with enemies in the recent past. Eventually, Anne returns to Avonlea to finally marry Gilbert.
