And so it was until Dara stepped on the porch of the amazing house, from each window of which a different melody sounded, found a winged thing that made beautiful sounds, and met a real sorceress who turned out to be a music teacher. The teacher immediately saw the girl's great talent and invited her to study music, but Darya's family did not have the money. And then… then there are countless barriers that need to be overcome.
On the way to free mastery of music, Darya had to add strength to her love, and her teachers and mother had faith, which became stronger than all obstacles, envy and betrayal.
The story is about talent, which is nothing without sweat, about friendship and love, about cunning and jealousy. And also about how important it is to find a teacher with a capital letter, a teacher by vocation. Such a teacher becomes a mentor, friend, soulmate and loved one for the child. "Espressivo" is a special book for me. It so happened that there were always talented people around. In childhood - potentially talented. But they did not always understand where to go. Some have revealed, happened, live as dreamed. In other abilities, withered, left dissatisfaction and resentment is unclear to whom and what. I wanted to understand where and why this is disappearing - given by God or Nature. THIS is what elevates a person above the arithmetic mean.
As a writer, I was lucky: my son fell in love with music and at the age of five he announced that he would be a musician. What are the statements of five-year-old children worth? But here it turned out differently. He BECAME a musician, composer. And I went through this difficult path with him. I watched, drew conclusions. Thanks to his teachers - Marina Konstantinovna Chorba and Kateryna Konstantinovna Zubkova - he never had to leave this incredibly difficult study, which takes ALL his free time: evenings, weekends, vacations. But I saw the situation as a whole: both teachers who have children of their own, men, gave my son the same.
Of course, it was impossible not to write about it. Behind each character is a real person. Not outwardly, of course. Character, habits, direction of thoughts and feelings - that's what I moved from life to the pages of the book. And some situations, no matter how unbelievable, may have taken place in real life. This is the independent preparation of children for the competition, and pedagogy with shouts, as well as the last concert. Here everything is plentiful, as it was.
Teacher and student, life choices, openness and envy, friendship, love and hate - these are the lines that, intertwining, formed a fascinating, in my opinion, the plot and at the same time gave the opportunity to reflect on topics that excite everyone.
What inspired me? I watched how hard it is to raise a real musician. I am lucky to be in the circle of people who love their job. I wanted to talk about it. After all, music is just one of the ways to go. But no matter what fate the young man chooses for himself, the laws are common.
I want to convey to the reader that we are creating our own world. Open, honest, kind - and the people around are the same. Stubborn, crooked inside - from time to time we are convinced that no one can be trusted, life is hard, and the benefits have to be scratched with claws.
This is the main charge of the book. I really want him to hit the target.
My heroes are not the fruit of author's fantasies. Some of the described situations are also not fiction. So, the book can be trusted. You can think about it, look for answers to your real questions.
