The monographic study is timed to comprehensive coverage of the unique cultural and traditional heritage of the Boyks. Different branches of Boyko's folk spiritual culture, the nature of understanding natural and social phenomena, a set of norms of folk customary law, morals, ethics, traditional knowledge, rituals, family and household calendars, etc. are marked by peculiar features. They intertwined layers of people's everyday consciousness of different epochs, starting from the primitive communal system, a combination of ancient pagan and late Christian elements, fantastic illusory ideas with achievements over the centuries, practical experience. Boyko's folklore tradition has brought to our time interesting monuments of ancient layers of oral poetry of the Ukrainian people, including calendar and family rituals (carols, carols), folk ballads, social songs, folk tales, legends, legends. Of considerable interest is the melodic and tonal structure of Boyko folk songs and instrumental music, musical and choreographic features of folk dance.
