Training model Factory INDUSTRY 4.0 consists of a station for storage and retrieval of workpieces, work with a vacuum manipulator, automated warehouse, multiprocessing station with oven, sorting line with color detection, environmental sensor and rotary chamber. After delivery of raw materials, it is stored in a multi-level warehouse, and after ordering on the dashboard goes through the appropriate factory processes. The current status is immediately visible on the instrument panel.
The built-in environmental sensor reports the values of temperature, humidity, pressure and air quality. Thanks to the vertical and horizontal rotation, the camera can see the entire installation and therefore can be used for web remote monitoring.
Individual workpieces are tracked using NFC (Near Field Communication): each workpiece is assigned a unique identification number (ID). This allows you to track and make visible the current state of the workpieces during processing. There are three different versions of Fischertechnik Training Factory Industry 4.0 24V, which differ in the type of controller connection. This option is connected to the network and is controlled by the included Siemens S7-1500 PLC. The PLC can be conveniently connected to the model with two connecting cables. The finished sample program (in the form of structured text, ST) is included in the delivery. The program was created on the basis of Siemens S7-1500 and written on the portal Siemens TIA V.16. The TXT controller from Fischertechnik is also installed in the model. It is powered via an adapter board and provides a connection to the fischertechnik cloud. The TXT controller also communicates via the MQTT with the IOT gateway (Raspberry Pi), which in turn is converted from OPC-UA to PLC controller. Thus, 9B-based components such as the environmental sensor, USB camera, brightness sensor and NFC reader can be addressed via the MQTT interface and read by the PLC. However, even more interesting is another feature of the IOT gateway, namely the ability to connect to a separate cloud. Thus, Training Factory Industry 4.0 offers maximum flexibility for the relevant user.
