Designer to create 8 models of robots controlled and programmed by a tablet or smartphone. Includes: 2 gearmotors, ultrasonic sensor, flexible tracks, battery-powered receiver, assembly instructions and 8 models, smart applications.
This kit gives children the basics of robotics in an interesting way. It is an interdisciplinary applied science that includes physics, engineering and computer science. The set allows you to build 8 motorized machines, program-controlled and an ultrasonic sensor. All models use crawler belts to move and move objects. Children write the code of the program using a simple application for visual programming on a tablet or smartphone. It connects to robot models using Bluetooth wireless technology.
The ultrasonic sensor works on the same principle as the sonar. It sends sound waves that are reflected from objects. The sensor interprets the echoes that return to it, and thus detects objects in the path. Using the program's interface, you can build and program robots for behavior based on feedback from an ultrasonic sensor.
Create a robot with two large tracks that move and avoid obstacles in its path. Create an obstacle course and watch as a long-necked reconnaissance robot uses its ultrasonic sensor to bypass it. The robot robot model detects your hand, moves towards it and follows it. Create models of real intelligent machines, such as a robot conveyor that carries small objects horizontally, and a robot escalator that lifts objects. The tundra explorer model moves along the obstacle course and overcomes small obstacles due to the unique design of the tread. You can also collect other interesting robots, including a bulldozer robot and a firefighter robot that leads the stairs to other objects.
A full-color 64-page guide with illustrations helps children assemble all the models and learn about robotics. Build instructions are also available in a separate app for Android or iOS.
In the programming application, the visual language allows you to control the robot engines separately, at different power levels, in different directions and in response to sensor data. Requires a tablet or smartphone running iOS (iPhone 4S or later, iPad 3 or later, iPod 5 or later) or Android (Android 4.3 or later on Bluetooth 4.0 devices).
Free applications for iOS or Android allow you to:
- control robots over a wireless network using a touch interface;
- write programs to control robot motors;
- use an ultrasonic sensor to command robots to perform certain actions depending on the situation;
- Assemble models step by step with 3D-instructions (separate application).
Designer for children from 8 years and older. Suitable for teaching children the basics of robotics, physics, programming, develops interest in further study of science.
The constructor can be used to teach children the STEAM method. Suitable for classes in kindergartens, schools, children's development centers, extracurricular development courses, clubs. And also & ndash; for playing at home, both independently and together.
