KONUS Campus-2 binocular microscope is the second generation of the popular Cone Campus university model. It differs from its predecessor by more economical LED backlight and triple power system: from the mains, from the included batteries or conventional AAA batteries. Equipped with a set of parfocal achromat lenses and a pair of wide-field glasses with multi-layered illumination of the main surfaces. Working multiplicities from the set - 40x, 100x, 400x for dry observations and 1000x for immersion work. The range of change in the center-to-center distance is 2 cm, from 55 to 75 mm: both an adult laboratory assistant and a teenage student will be able to choose a comfortable distance between the glasses. Each of the eyepiece tubes has diopter correction rings, which distinguishes the microscope from other binocular models with correction on only one eyepiece.

A screw stop that blocks the movement of the table is provided to prevent the slide from "squeezing" during focusing. The set includes 4 filters to correct the contrast of lightly colored samples: yellow, blue, green and matte, scattering. As in the previous Campus, the CONUS Campus-2 slide backlight is provided from below, but not by halogen, but by a neutral LED illuminator, which also has a stepless dimmer.
Campus-2 in the highest price category: its price is still available to higher and secondary schools. In addition, those for whom the possibility of binocular viewing is not essential, will be able to reduce the purchase budget by choosing a similar monocular model - the KONUS Academy-2 microscope.
