This book introduces the history of the Orthodox Church in Western Europe in the twentieth century. The authors consider the path and state of the Church in each of the countries. The main purpose of the book is to acquaint the reader with the origin, history and current state of communities in a united Europe. The authors hope that the book will be useful for inter-Christian and inter-religious dialogue, especially for Orthodox Christians themselves, in order to know each other better and contribute to the growing unity of Orthodoxy in Europe.
