Levenhuk Ra 150C Cassegrain OTA is an optical tube built around two mirrors. The primary has the form of a parabola, the secondary - hyperbola. This scheme is called the Cassegrain reflector and is interesting, above all, because it is completely free of spherical distortions. Astigmatism and curvature of the visual field are also well adjusted here. This OTA is perfect for visual observations of outer space and will appeal to experienced astronomy enthusiasts who place high demands on telescopes. The level of reflection is in the range of 92-96%. The main element of the focusing system - a backlash two-speed focus Crayford. Thanks to it, the adjustment of sharpness is smooth and accurate. Fastening of OTA to mounting is a "swallow's tail" plate, so it can be installed on almost any modern mounting. There is also a finder holder in the design. The optical tube is made of steel and has a very high quality internal blackening.
Please note: the kit does not include mounting, tripod, viewfinder and eyepieces. Optics coating based on silicon dioxide and aluminum, reflection 92 ~ 96%
