• Activated carbon filter
This layer is made of porous carbon materials with many large holes that increase the area of air passing through the filter by 20 times. As soon as the filter comes into contact with air, it begins to absorb harmful gas molecules. It can absorb high molecular weight organic gases such as benzene, low molecular weight pollutants such as hydrogen sulfide and formaldehyde, and odors.
• HEPA filter This layer consists of a thin fiber mat with tiny holes and high absorbency. The HEPA filter effectively removes particles and purifies the air. It can remove 99.7% of particles with a diameter of 0.3 μm and more than 99.9% of fine particles with a diameter of 2.5 μm (PM2.5), filter particles that are 100 times smaller than PM2.5.
