Little women: a novel

Louise May Olcott's Little Women is a cult novel by many generations of American girls. They read to self-forgetfulness; they cried and laughed at him; it was disassembled into quotations and repeatedly screened. The four sisters - the pretty and chubby Meg, the clumsy and boyish Joe, the mannered young Lady Amy and the shy sacrificial Beth - are all trying to be good, failing and winning a little on the path to self-improvement. You sympathize and envy them, you experience and rejoice with them. And in the end, those distant American girls become really close to you, and the novel is almost your favorite!
