Discovery Channel is a world-famous popular science channel about science, technology, research and adventure. A fascinating combination of stories from different genres helps to look at the people, places, organizations and events that shape our world from different angles. Discovery inspires millions of people around the world with the opportunity to discover new things and quench their thirst for knowledge. Femto Polar is a monocular microscope for observations in reflected and transmitted light using the light field method. It gives an increase in the range from 40 to 400 times, which allows you to conduct many studies, both ready-made micropreparations and self-made samples. With its help you can see the simplest, tiny aquatic inhabitants, small structures of plant and animal tissues. An educational book on the microworld is also included.
The monocular nozzle can be rotated around the axis by 360 °, which facilitates group work. If you need to show the sample to another researcher, there is no need to move the whole microscope, you can just deploy the nozzle. The nozzle also has the most comfortable inclination of 45 ° for long-term observations. The optics of the microscope are made of glass and built around a 10x wide-angle eyepiece and three achromatic lenses with 4x, 10x and 40x magnification. The lens is 40 times spring-loaded. You can adjust the sharpness roughly and precisely.
The brightness of the LED backlight can be adjusted. Power for both luminaires - AC mains (adapter included) or batteries. You can also use an aperture dial to more accurately set the lighting from the lower LED. The disk is located under the subject table, the table itself is supplemented with clamps for fixing micropreparations. It is written in accessible language, not rich in complex scientific terms, supplemented by colorful illustrations. On its pages you can learn about how the microscope works, what and who can be observed with it, what biological experiments can be performed right at home. Great addition to the Discovery Femto Polar microscope.
