Discovery Channel is a world-famous popular science channel about science, technology, research and adventure. A fascinating combination of stories from different genres helps to look at the people, places, organizations and events that shape our world from different angles. Discovery inspires millions of people around the world with the opportunity to discover new things and quench their thirst for knowledge. Micro Polar is an entry-level biological microscope that allows you to see large cells, examine the structure of plant tissues, parts of insects, tiny aquatic life, and more. It is designed to study transparent samples and gives excellent results on ready-made micropreparations from kits. The microscope is small, easy to operate and easy to use even far from home.
Optical capabilities of the microscope The optical system consists of a revolving device with fixed lenses and a non-removable two-position eyepiece. Multiplicity of lenses - 4x, 10x and 40x, and the multiplicity of the eyepiece - 10x or 16x (depending on the selected position). The total magnification of the microscope is from 40 to 640 times. These capabilities are not enough to study bacteria, but with the help of this microscope you can get an idea of the structure of the microworld and significantly expand your knowledge in the field of microbiology. The monocular nozzle has an inclination of 45 °, which makes long-term observations more convenient. The sharpness can be adjusted with the coarse focus knobs located on the body. In low light conditions, it is best to turn on the backlight located at the bottom of the device. This is a battery-powered LED with adjustable brightness. The beam of light is directed upwards through a disk with apertures which helps to adjust illumination of a working area more precisely. Since the microscope does not require an outlet, you can even travel, and any sample can be examined in detail directly in the field.
