Discovery Channel is a world-famous popular science channel about science, technology, research and adventure. A fascinating combination of stories from different genres helps to look at the people, places, organizations and events that shape our world from different angles. Discovery inspires millions of people around the world with the opportunity to discover new things and quench their thirst for knowledge. Discovery Pico Polar is an entry-level microscope that can be used for many light field observations in transmitted and reflected light. It is easy to use, creates a clear picture, allows you to study samples at a magnification of 40 to 400 times. As the Invisible World knowledge book is included, it becomes even easier to master the basics of management and conduct the first research. The set includes the following accessories: 10-fold wide-eyed eyepiece and three achromatic lenses with 4x, 10x and 40x magnification. The 40x lens has an elastic frame that protects the front lens from damage. The nozzle can be rotated 360 °, it also has a slight inclination of 30 °. These points simplify and make it easier to work with a microscope for a long time, especially in a group. All elements of the optical system are made of glass, which allows to achieve high definition of the transmitted image. The coaxial mechanism of rough and precise focusing also helps.
The sample is placed on the stage and fixed with clamps. Under the table there is a disk with apertures, which allows you to more accurately align the light from the lower illuminator. The backlight is LED, combined, has brightness adjustment. There is also a choice of power supply for lighting: AC mains or batteries. The power adapter is included in the package.
The Invisible World Knowledge Book is a colorful guide to the world of the microworld. A vividly illustrated and clearly written manual will help in conducting the first scientific experiments and will tell more about protozoa, bacteria, fungi and tiny aquatic inhabitants. Great addition to the Discovery Pico Polar microscope.
