In front of you is a laboratory microscope with wide-field achromatic optics and halogen illumination. The Levenhuk 500M will be a good choice for studying stained histological specimens and performing other professional micro-examinations at 40 to 400 times magnification. In addition, this microscope can be used to teach students of biological and medical universities and specialized colleges.
The nozzle holds only one eyepiece. A 10-fold eyepiece is already included. The visual unit can rotate 360 ° and has an inclination of 45 ° - this greatly simplifies long-term work with a microscope. The revolver device allows to install three lenses, in a base complete set there are already three achromatic lenses with multiplicity of 4х, 10х and 40х. The 40-fold lens only has an elastic frame.
The subject table has two clamps for micropreparations. Next to the table is a coaxial focusing mechanism - coarse and fine adjustment knobs. The backlight is at the bottom: it consists of a halogen bulb and a collector. There are brightness settings. Additionally, the brightness can be adjusted using a condenser with an iris diaphragm. A special holder is provided for the light filters.
The housing of the microscope is made of metal, the illumination requires connection to the AC mains.
