Discovery Channel is a world-famous popular science channel about science, technology, research and adventure. A fascinating combination of stories from different genres helps to look at the people, places, organizations and events that shape our world from different angles. Discovery inspires millions of people around the world with the opportunity to discover new things and quench their thirst for knowledge. The Discovery Femto Polar microscope is an opportunity not only to visually study micropreparations, but also to create digital archives of your research. Thanks to the 3-megapixel camera, this microscope can display a picture from the lens on a computer screen, take photos and record video. The camera greatly expands the capabilities of the device, making it a great choice for learning and scientific hobbies. In addition, a colorful educational book about the microworld is included.
Achromatic optics, inclined nozzle and precise focusing
The optics of the microscope are made of glass, so the transmitted image is clear and contrasting. Three achromatic lenses give a magnification of 4x, 10x and 40x. The lens is 40 times spring-loaded. The wide-eyed eyepiece is approaching ten. The total multiplicity of the microscope is from 40 to 400 times. The monocular nozzle is deflected at an angle of 45 °, which makes long-term observations more comfortable. You can also rotate the nozzle 360 ° - this feature is useful for group research, as it allows you to show the sample to another researcher without moving the microscope (you need to turn the nozzle in the right direction). Note that the sharpness can be adjusted not only roughly but also accurately.
Adjustable LED backlight
The lighting system consists of upper and lower LEDs, the brightness of which can be adjusted. There is also a disk with apertures, which helps to adjust the intensity of light flux from the lower illuminator. The backlight requires an AC adapter (supplied with the power adapter) or a battery. pix. It also allows you to record video, display images on a computer screen and perform simple frame processing. The camera should be inserted into the microscope eyepiece tube in place of the standard eyepiece and connected to the computer via a USB cable. A disc with the necessary software is included.
Invisible World Knowledge Book included
To make the study of the microworld even more effective and interesting, be sure to read the Invisible World knowledge book. This colorful cognitive guide tells just about complex things: the device of the microscope, the inhabitants of the microworld, methods of conducting scientific research. With the help of this book, many experiments can be carried out independently - the pages describe them step by step. magnification from 40 to 400 times.
