The Levenhuk D400 LCD digital microscope is a professional laboratory microscope for working with biological samples. Instead of the classic eyepiece, it has a 2-megapixel digital camera with an LCD screen, where you can watch images in real time. This type of nozzle is most convenient for long-term observations and group studies. The overall magnification of the microscope is in the range of 60 to 1500 times. The turret contains four lenses. The set already includes achromatic lenses with 4x, 10x, 40x and 100x magnification. Observations are made in a light field and with the use of oil immersion, for the latter a 100-fold lens is used. The front lenses of high-magnification lenses (40x and 100x) are protected by special spring frames. Focusing can be done with two coaxial knobs, which are responsible for rough and precise adjustment of sharpness.
The lighting system consists of a classic light field condenser Abbe, iris and lower LED with collector. There is a light filter holder. The backlight has brightness control and can be powered by rechargeable batteries or AC mains. The body of the microscope is made of metal, the subject table is equipped with drugs.
Let's say a few words about the digital camera. It transmits images in real time, allows you to record videos and photos in good resolution and with a high frame rate. There are connectors for external devices and a memory card slot on the back of the LCD screen. The control buttons are located on the front panel.
