With the help of drawing the profiles of five Ukrainian art critics of the XIX-XX centuries (Adrian Prakhov, Hryhoriy Pavlutsky, Hryhoriy Logvin, Volodymyr Yasievych, Abram Marder) Andriy Puchkov tries to reveal the main features of art and architecture studies in Ukraine as separate disciplines. anthropological aspect: chronologically - more than a hundred years (from 1880 to 2000), territorially - from the Russian Empire to independent Ukraine, mainly - in Kiev.
The purpose of the book is to show that art critics and architects have studied something visual in a way that is unique to them when the author of the book studies (a) the visual, (b) the way it is studied by one or another scientist (c) the figure of scientist, and therefore - resorted to the construction of metamaterial construction.
