The monograph examines existing domestic and foreign scientific papers on this issue. The history of the origin of model legal acts and their legal formalization at different stages of historical development is analyzed. Based on the understanding of the "model" category, the own definition of model legal, model normative-legal, model normative-legal legislative, model normative-legal by-laws, model legal-recommendatory acts is formulated, features of these acts, their essence and classification are singled out.
