Assemble the motorized hand to control it by moving objects! The 4M science kit will immerse you in the world of robotics. In it you will find everything you need to assemble a robot arm, except for a small Phillips screwdriver and two AA batteries.
When you assemble a motorized arm using the diagram in the instructions, it will be time for the first experiments. Press the button on the right to move the handwheel up and down, then press the button on the left and the hand will start to open and close the claw. Note that the buttons must be pressed in turn.
Arrange a grand construction! Use a robot manipulator to play a tower crane or excavator. Invite friends and play together.
In the instructions you will find informative facts that will be even more interesting for robotics. For example, you will learn that the first robotic arm was created by the American inventor George Devol. In the 1960s, the handwheel was used in a car factory to lift heavy metal car parts. Today, the companies employ thousands of robotic hands that move objects, perform work on painting, welding and cutting. Roboruka is also used on the International Space Station.
The KidzRobotix set will be interesting for children from 8 years old. He develops ingenuity, intelligence, curiosity, thinking and design skills. Can be used for STEAM classes.
