Create a cave at home with real crystals! Your treasures will look like geodes & ndash; round mineral formations, inside which crystals grow. Natural geodes are mined in the mountains and split in half to see the beautiful translucent crystals inside the stones. With the 4M research kit, you can grow geodes on your own without leaving home.
You have to do an interesting chemistry experiment. In the halves of crystal bowls in 5-8 days you will grow beautiful sparkling minerals. You will need goggles, rubber gloves, hot water, a measuring cup and an apron for the experiment.
Follow the instructions carefully. When you pour the powder into hot water, it breaks down into small particles invisible to the eye, and a solution is formed. When water cools, part of it evaporates, and the particles of matter reunite to form groups with an ordered structure. This gives crystals with flat edges and sharp edges.
Use one large package of monoammonium phosphate powder at a time and one small one to grow crystals in two hemispheres. Leave the other pair of packets for the second geode. Do not mix two large bags for one experiment, otherwise it will fail (the powder will not dissolve).

To grow the crystal for 4-7 days, you need a temperature above 20 degrees. Due to the low temperature, growth may stop or slow down (up to 30 days).
