Oleg Panfilov (b. 1957) is a journalist, human rights activist, publicist, historian, professor, former author and host of programs on Radio Liberty and the Russian-language TV channel PIK, Georgia. Author of scripts for eight films, more than 5,000 articles published in newspapers and magazines in Russia, USA, Pakistan, Iran, Israel, Poland, Bulgaria, Germany, Czech Republic, Sweden, winner of international awards, author and co-author of 50 books.
