The events of the story "Night Reporter" take place in Lviv in 1938. Journalist Marko Krylovych, nicknamed the "night reporter" for his nightly coverage of the city's bottom, is investigating the assassination of the city's presidential candidate. At the same time, he gets into various love and criminal adventures, sometimes risking his life.
