Plan Achromatic 4x / 0.10 - a lens with 4x magnification and a high level of aberration correction (planachrome). It is characterized by a wide viewing angle, intended for "search" studies of the surface of microsamples. Forms a detailed, bright and contrasting image, which is why it is often used for microphotography.
