The man who called himself Croesus lived in Dickemark Psychiatric Institution for almost 50 years. Before his death, he managed to whisper to the nurses: people are being killed here. A few years later, under unknown circumstances, Julia, the daughter of a surgeon at the facility, disappeared. Journalist Kaisa Kuren is on childcare leave. She missed work, so at the request of a mysterious employer willingly agrees to collect evidence of possible witnesses to the disappearance of Julia. But when the employer is found dead, Kaisa realizes that she is dragged into a whirlpool of evil events.
