Pavlo Hryhorovych Tychyna (1891-1967) entered the history of our culture as a poet-innovator, romantic, singer of the Spring, author of the unsurpassed Solar Clarinets, translator, theologian, scientist, musician, and artist. He enriched the Ukrainian language with more than 1,500 neologisms, which are included in modern dictionaries. He learned to feel music in poetry and think in images, spoke to the universe in the language of his native Ukrainian land. At the same time, he was a man about whom Vasyl Stus wrote: “The phenomenon of Tychyna is a phenomenon of the day. His fate will testify: the poet lived in a time when he sent a genius to the role of a clown. And the poet agreed to this role ... becoming a clown at the court of the bloody king ... ".
