The monograph is devoted to a comprehensive study of the role of decisions of local governments in the mechanism of legal regulation of land relations. The paper reveals the issue of determining the legal nature of local government decisions taken in the field of land relations, by studying their concept, types and place in the mechanism of legal regulation of land relations. According to the results of the study of the provisions of the current legislation of Ukraine and the legislation of foreign countries, specific decisions of local governments in the field of regulation of land relations, domestic and foreign legal doctrine, as well as judicial Ukraine's practice related to resolving disputes over appeals against these decisions, there are some proposals to improve the legislation of Ukraine, in particular in the regulation of local government land relations at the local level and determine the legal consequences of illegal legal acts.
Conclusions and recommendations of the author can be used in rule-making and law enforcement activities, in conducting research on legal regulation of local self-government land relations, in the study of general theory of law, land, civil law.
