The 4M Robot Bubble Science Kit allows you to assemble an unusual robot that blows soap bubbles on its own. In a fun game, children from 8 years old will get acquainted with robotics and physics.
Assemble the work according to detailed instructions with pictures. Run and watch him deftly blow bubbles out of soapy water! The set includes a jar for soap solution. Bubble liquid can be easily made yourself according to the recipes in the instructions.
The scientific kit helps children learn to assemble the mechanisms according to the instructions. Develops thinking, intelligence, ingenuity, attentiveness, design skills. Assembling working models is of interest in the study of science. Children spend time without gadgets and in practice see the result of their efforts. The set from the KidzRobotix series is suitable for classes at home and on STEAM educational courses.
How is the robot arranged? The battery powers the engine, forcing it to rotate the fan at high speed. The fan sucks air through the upper part of the robot housing and blows it through a hole in the front of the housing. The motor also rotates a set of gears that rotate the rotor with the rods attached to it. The gears change the high engine speed to the slow rotor speed. The rods are immersed in the solution when the rotor rotates, covering the shaped holes with a thin film of soap mixture. When the sticks move in front of the fan, the air turns the soap film into bubbles.
How do bubbles come out? The thickness of the soap film is less than one thousandth of a millimeter. It is as elastic as a balloon, so it explodes. The film is held by the force of surface tension created by tiny particles in the mixture, clinging to each other. Bubbles are round because the bubble shell always tries to shrink to the minimum possible area. The bubble bursts because the water in it slowly evaporates into the air. The colors of the rainbow that you see on the bubble are created by light reflected from its inner and outer surface.
