How does a smart snail work?
The gearbox and articulated mechanism you design come to life, converting electric current into kinetic energy. In this case, the current comes from batteries, which always have a positive and negative pole. There are very few electrons at the positive pole, while many electrons at the negative pole. If the positive and negative poles are connected by turning on the switch, the electrons move to correct the imbalance, creating an electric current. The hinge at the top of the snail uses this energy to "crawl" like a real snail.
The science kit will delight young science enthusiasts and introduce children to the basic principles of mechanics & ndash; section of physics. Learning school subjects is now more fun with cool toy robots from 4M that you can design yourself!
