SIGETA Elementary is easy to operate, but by no means a simple student microscope. In the basic complete set it has 3 modes of increase - 40, 100 and 400 times. The model is equipped with achromatic lenses and a Ramsden eyepiece: its optical circuit is adapted to the features of the visual system of a child 8-14 years and allows only residual transverse chromatic aberrations.
so as to allow adjustment of the inclination of the frame. If necessary, the frame, and with it the eyepiece tube and the revolving device with lenses can be deflected from the vertical at an angle of up to 60 °. In any position of the case, the horseshoe-shaped base of the case will stand firmly on a flat surface. The SIGETA Elementary microscope is a rational solution for biology classroom equipment: this device is easy to adjust to the observer's height and experimental conditions (sitting / standing, with or without sample replacement).
rail transmission. Its range is about 2 cm, there is a protective locking screw. Separate flywheels on both sides of the case are provided for pre-sharpening and subsequent fine focusing. It is worth noting that the possibility of fine focusing for student microscopes is quite rare.
The subject table of the student microscope SIGETA Elementary is equipped with two metal slide clamps; just below the tabletop is mounted a disk diaphragm with holes. By installing a hole of appropriate diameter (5 to 12 mm) on the optical axis, you can adjust the contrast of the image and the shape of the illuminated area. One of its sides is flat, the other is concave for more efficient focusing of light. The frame, which contains both mirror plates, has complete freedom of rotation around the support rod: in almost any situation, it helps to use external lighting for illumination. In low light conditions, the mirror should be replaced with an electric backlight module.
