SIGETA MB-303 40x-1600x LED Trino is a universal biological microscope with a trinocular optical head. Designed for histological, bacteriological and cytological studies of biomaterial, allows the installation of a camera for photofixation of laboratory experiments. The optics of the microscope generates a detailed, full-color and bright image, so the model MB-303 should be used for educational purposes. The microscope is equipped with a set of achromatic lenses for 4x, 10x, 40x, 100x class Extra Achromat (with improved correction of field curvature). The lenses are made according to the German DIN standard, with a parfocal height of 45 mm. The SIGETA MB-303 40x-1600x also includes 2 pairs of 10x and 16x wide-angle glasses: depending on the combination of glasses and lens, the total magnification of the optical system can be from 40 to 1600 times. The trinocular head of the microscope rotates freely in any direction, which allows to demonstrate the results of experiments to outside observers. The eyepiece tubes are tilted at a 45 ° angle, and the camera adapter is mounted vertically in the nozzle, on a threaded mount. The interpupillary distance of the tubes is regulated in the range of 55-75 mm by shifting / spreading the binoculars. The SIGETA MB-303 biological microscope has an accurate and reliable focusing system. Coarse / fine focus units are located on both sides of the housing. On the same shaft, coaxially with the focusing drums, on the left side of the housing is fixed a ring for fixing the settings, and on the right - the tension regulator of the mechanism. Sharpening is due to changes in the height of the stage; adjustment range - 0 ... 25 mm. The platform for slides has considerable dimensions - 14 x 15.5 cm. The slide is moved along the tabletop mechanically, using micrometric calipers. Displacement limits - 7x5 cm.
The microscope lighting system consists of a 1 W LED lamp, a collector and a 1.25 NA capacitor with a light filter ring. The diameter of the hole of the iris aperture diaphragm varies from 2 to 30 mm.
