SIGETA MS-214 LED 20x-Bino 40x Stereo is a professional stereoscopic (repair) microscope with achromatic optics and a solid working distance (80 mm). Equipped with double smoked LED backlight with separate control; designed to study objects in transmitted, reflected and mixed light.
The microscope revolver has 2 paired stereo lenses for 2x and 4x with chromatic aberration correction. Switching the working multiplicity is carried out by turning the revolver: increase (2x → 4x) - clockwise, decrease - counterclockwise.
The complete pair of WF10x glasses is made according to the achromatic scheme of Kellner and has an increased removal of the original pupil. This allows the researcher to work under a microscope without even removing the glasses: all you need to do is remove the rubber pads ("glasses") from the rims of the glasses. The field diameter of the eyepiece diaphragm is 20 mm, the angular field of view is 40 °.
The total magnification of the SIGETA MS-214 LED 20x-40x stereomicroscope is 20 or 40 times depending on the multiplicity of the active lens. Due to the illuminating coating on the lenses of glasses and lenses, the optics forms a contrasting and bright 3D image when working at any multiplicity.
Focusing on the object of study is carried out by raising and lowering the optical unit, which moves along the vertical frame by means of a rail transmission mechanism. In the center of the frame are fixed two-way focus controllers: the rotation of any of them leads to the rotation of the revolver with lenses and top illuminator. The remote lamp holder gives you the freedom to adjust its tilt: regardless of the focal length, you can always direct the light on the sample stand. The upper and lower illuminators are switched on both separately and together for mixed light observations. The brightness of each lamp is adjusted separately, with two controls at the base of the case. For the comfort of children and adults, the MS-214 microscope tripod has a binocular head with a wide range of interpupillary distance adjustment (51-75 mm) and the possibility of diopter correction: this allows you to choose the appropriate parameters even for a first-grader. It will also be easy for a child to learn the rules of working with SIGETA MS-214, but he will not be able to move and install the device on his own. The microscope weighs more than 3 kg, it will have to be lifted with one hand, by a special metal handle on top of the frame. However, thanks to the massive stand of the big area the device stands motionless even on not absolutely equal surface.
