SIGETA MS-217 LED 20x-Bino 40x Stereo is a professional stereomicroscope for studying the 3D structure of small objects in transmitted and reflected light. It has two magnification modes (20x and 40x), designed for use in production and repair shops, art workshops and antique shops. The model is characterized by high resolution, forms a clear and contrasting spatial image of the object. The focusing mechanism allows you to sharpen not only on the surface but also along the entire depth of the terrain.
The microscope turret has 2 pairs of lenses at a certain angle to each other. The choice of working multiplicity is made by turning the turret. 2x and 4x lenses are set at different heights, so the working distance (from the table to the outer frame of the lens) will be the same at arbitrary multiplicity: by carefully sharpening 2x, you can work on 4x without additional adjustment. The SIGETA MS-217 stereomicroscope has two types of LED backlight and is powered by 220 V. The upper and lower illuminators consist of several LED lamps, which ensures greater system reliability and more even distribution of light on the table surface.
At the base of the instrument is a vertical, round tripod in cross section, around which the optical head of the microscope rotates: the lenses move to the right / left over the subject platform.
The table top can be one of two large diameter discs (95 mm): the first is made of translucent frosted glass; the second, bilateral - from plastic. The white and black sides of the plastic plate are used to increase the contrast when studying dark and light samples, respectively. Additionally, the microscope can be equipped with a dark field condenser.
The set of Sigeta MS-217 20x-40x includes comfortable soft rubber eyeglasses. The distance between the eyepiece tubes is regulated in a wide range, according to the interpupillary distance of the observer. Due to this, even prolonged work with the microscope does not put undue strain on the laboratory assistant's visual apparatus.
