Martin Shchigelsky. Theater of the Invisible Children
Michalov is eleven years old. He goes to school, dreams, reads a lot, of course, is empty. But his most cherished wish is to have a family. Because Michal lives in an orphanage. Life seems good to him as long as he has a friend whom he trusts and takes care of. But when little Cheburashka is returned to his family, and his favorite educator moves to another city, Michal experiences real despair. When the crisis is overcome, it turns out that from now on Michal will live in "Oak Forest", a special orphanage where very few children live, and all of them are unusual. There, the boy meets 14-year-old Sylvia, who dreams of theater. Together with the pupils of "Oak Forest", they put on a play based on a play written by Michal. The children are sure that many people will see their play and the Invisible Children's Theater will become famous. However, the year 1981. And on the day of the long-awaited premiere, the children learn that martial law has been imposed in the country.
