The Dobson Levenhuk Ra 300N Dob telescope is a 300 mm parabolic reflector that can be observed in both far and near space. It will allow you to study lunar formations from 1.5 km in size, Saturn's rings, details of Jupiter's atmosphere, weather on Mars and even Pluto and Neptune, albeit without details. It can also see binary stars, nebulae, galaxies and star clusters. Many of them will show details. Even in the hands of a novice astronomer, this telescope will show many astronomical beauties.
Main mirror of parabolic shape and with aluminum coating> The picture is formed by a parabolic main mirror with a diameter of 300 mm. It is supplemented with aluminum coating, the reflection of which is 92-96%. Thanks to this optical design, the telescope collects a lot of light, "paints" a clear and contrasting image, does not bring aberrations into the picture, even at maximum magnification. Crisford's two-speed focus is responsible for adjusting sharpness, eliminating any backlash.
Accelerated thermal stabilization due to active cooling of the optics
Wednesday will take several hours. But Levenhuk Ra 300N Dob is equipped with an active cooling system, so thermal stabilization will take about half the time. The fan runs on batteries purchased separately.
Improved Dobson mounting with high-altitude bearing and balancing system
The optical tube is mounted for mounting with a special high-altitude bearing and balancing system. Thanks to it, the control of the telescope is smooth and responsive, and the wear of mechanical parts is significantly reduced compared to conventional Dobson mounts. This system also allows you to balance the telescope by moving the optical tube up or down a couple of inches. On the mounting sides there are scales that help in balancing.
All necessary observations are already included in the set. It is an 8x50 mm optical viewfinder and two multi-focus glasses.
