Levenhuk Skyline PRO 80 MAK is the junior model of the Levenhuk Skyline PRO series of telescopes, which is perfect as a "derivative" telescope. Thanks to the use of mirror-lens optical circuit, the telescope tube is very compact, and the image is of high quality. Equatorial mounting is excellent for astronomical observations, it provides smooth guidance of the telescope lens on the diurnal motion of luminaries. Such characteristics allow you to observe the planets and the moon using high magnifications. All lens elements of the telescope have a translucent coating, and the mirrors have a high-quality reflective layer - all this helps to reduce light loss, which has a positive effect on the brightness and contrast of the image. The protective coating of the mirrors protects them from turbidity, which prolongs the life of the telescope. It is compatible with 1.25-inch diameter glasses, has a smooth ride without jerks and backlash. The red dot detector has a wide field of view and allows you to quickly aim at objects visible to the naked eye and bright reference stars.
The telescope is mounted on an equatorial mount with a manual drive. Equatorial mounting allows you to track the daily movement of the lights by rotating the telescope around one axis (ie you will need to rotate only one handle so that the object does not go out of sight). Mounting is provided with flexible handles for fine movements, it is possible to install a clock drive. Coordinate circles allow the telescope to be guided by the equatorial coordinates of the object being observed. The height of the tripod is adjustable, which provides comfortable observation of people of all heights.
