The Levenhuk Skyline Travel Sun 70 telescope is designed specifically for field observations. It is light, compact, equipped with a comfortable carrying backpack and works well on the planets of the solar system, the Moon and terrestrial objects. The telescope can also be used to study solar activity - a special protective filter is included in the delivery set. Levenhuk Skyline Travel Sun 70 - a classic refractor, in which you can see the Great Red Spot on Jupiter, the rings and the slit of Cassini Saturn, many objects from the Messier catalog.
The main feature of the telescope - small size. With an aperture of 70 mm, the length of the tube is only 40 cm. Therefore, it is convenient to travel with a telescope - you can take it to a country astronomical congress or sidewalk. Everything you need is included in the complete backpack.
The optical tube is mounted on a classic azimuthal mount. A convenient handle is used to control it. The optical tube can be moved vertically and horizontally. The mounting is attached to an aluminum tripod, the height of the legs of which can be adjusted.
All necessary accessories for observations are already included in the delivery set. Multi-focus glasses and a Barlow lens are needed to select the optimal magnification. The solar filter is used during observations of the Sun (studying solar activity without it is dangerous for eyesight). Diagonal prism allows you to study terrestrial objects - it makes the image inverted (straight). Be careful: observing the sun without the use of a special protective filter leads to irreversible damage to vision, up to blindness!
