Oleg Govda (born 1964) graduated from Lviv Polytechnic Institute, chemist. Lives in the city of South Odessa region. Published since 1987, some of his works have been translated into other languages. He is the author of adventure and fiction stories, short stories and more than a dozen novels, one of which - "Perun's Horse" - won the All-Ukrainian competition "Coronation of the Word" (2001). Oleg Govda is also a laureate of the Gogol Fantasy 2010 competition. He believes that the main thing in literature is interesting adventures of heroes, and mysticism, fantasy or science fiction are all just spices for the main course.
