The MCMOS 3100 3.1Mp digital eyepiece matrix has physical dimensions of 6.55 x 4.92 mm with a resolution of 2048x1536, ie the side length of each pixel is 3.2 μm. The "big" pixel indicates the increased capacity of the photodiode, which is directly related to the sensitivity of the device. Aptina CMOS sensor photodiodes perceive radiation in the entire visible spectrum; the infrared range is cut off by the built-in IR filter. As a result, photos and videos taken with the camera are characterized by high detail and natural color reproduction. With good lighting of the workplace, all this allows you to achieve interesting photo effects and get clear images of micro-objects by light field microscopy. WARNING! The MCMOS series is not designed to work with the fluorescent method.
The MCMOS 3100 3.1Mp USB camera works with the ToupView multifunction software (the installation file is included on the disc). ToupView allows you to broadcast real-time images from a microscope to a projector screen or PC monitor, record video at high speed, save and edit the resulting material. A calibration slide with micro-marking is included in the camera kit for scaling and measurement through the software interface. they have no moving parts or protrusions. This is due to the reliability and long life of the camera.
