Valery Makeev is a lawyer, author of a collection of poetry and three prose works, a musician (he released two CDs: "Only you and I" and "Made in Ukrain"). A human rights activist and volunteer, he has been promoting the release of Ukrainian prisoners of war since July 2014. In the same year he found himself behind bars, spent 100 days "in the basement", where no laws and regulations apply. But he survived and ... wrote an honest book about it, "100 Days of Captivity, or Call Sign & ldquo; 911 & rdquo;", which was published by Folio in 2016. Valery Makeyev's new book about Ukrainian counterintelligence operations and the exciting adventures of Special Agent Regent is perceived as a detective. Interestingly and convincingly, with elements of mysticism and subtle psychology, the author depicts the events of the war called the ATO. She also burned the artist himself - a lawyer, an Orthodox Christian.
