The proposed textbook is intended for initial acquaintance with the basics of higher mathematics and the development of skills for solving practical problems for students of non-mathematical specialties of higher education. The textbook discusses elements of set theory, linear and vector algebra, analytical geometry, boundary theory, differential calculus and its applications.
Theoretical material is accompanied by a large number of examples and problems. In addition, at the end of each section there are questions for self-examination, 30 complex individual tasks, as well as the solution of the individual task. The book includes an extended reference section on elementary mathematics. The appendix contains numerical tables and 120 graphs of rational, fractional-rational, irrational and transcendent functions. for students of technical schools and universities, graduate students, persons engaged in self-education, and teachers who organize the educational process on a credit-module system.
