This book is not a story about war, not an analysis of its causes and consequences. Here you will not find a clear chronicle of events. This narrative does not claim to be objective. This is a very existential story, the story of a little man caught in a whirlpool of complex and terrible events that are happening in Ukraine and are referred to in official documents as the anti-terrorist operation (anti-terrorist operation). And for ordinary people, everything that happens is called a more understandable word - war.
This is not so much a story about the war, although it is one of the main characters in the story. This is a story first of all about the family and human destinies, the succession of generations, about choice and home, about the importance of everything that seems ordinary in normal life and the importance of what we begin to realize only after losing.
