"I explore the world" textbook for 2nd grade secondary schools (in 2 parts). Part 1

• The content of the textbook implements the natural, civil and historical, social and health, information, technological areas of the new State Standard of Primary Education, corresponds to the standard educational program of the course "I explore the world" (led by O. Savchenko) . • Carefully selected material contributes to the personal development of students, the formation of social, life, civic, information and communication competencies, the ability to solve problems using digital devices, information and communication technologies. • The presentation of the textbook is logical and consistent. • The disclosure of each topic is based on a research approach. • Observations in nature, experiments are provided. Tasks aimed at the formation of practical skills, motivating students to a healthy lifestyle and safe living are proposed. • Training, play and situational tasks are closely related to the real life of students, encourage them to learn about the environment. • The Ukrainian studies component of the textbook is aimed at cultivating love for the native land and its people, interest in historical events and support of folk traditions. • The textbook contains educational material that allows to approach its mastering in a differentiated way, to organize independent work of students (in groups, pairs, individually). • The apparatus of orientation and methodically valuable, expedient illustrative material (drawings, photos, schemes, tables) are presented.
