All parents dream of their children weaving breakfast, lunch and dinner on both cheeks and asking for more. In real life, more often than not, the opposite is true: mom, dad, grandma and grandpa literally "sit down" on a favorite child, begging to eat at least a spoonful for mom, then for dad ... And the baby sits with his mouth shut, sometimes comes even to tears. Or a different situation: the child submissively eats everything, but then it only gets worse ...
This book is about food, but not quite about it. It is about love, awareness, thoughts and feelings - especially adults. It is they who shape our relationship with food, which we involuntarily pass on to our own children. So what is important to understand about yourself and your children so that they grow up healthy? And how do you learn to turn breakfasts, lunches and dinners into a holiday, not a battlefield at the table? Let's talk about it!
Review of the book
Feeding a child often turns into a battlefield, where all means are acceptable from shouting to singing and dancing. It is not clear who is the enemy in this battle?
After reading this book, I was overjoyed. I hope it will help bring peace to this eternal battle! After all, parents often think: "But I do not care, first of all, it is necessary to teach" proper "nutrition to children." However, Anna Rymarenko subtly and gently explains a simple but very important idea: in order for a child to learn to enjoy food, feel their needs and choose the best products for themselves and their health, it is also important for parents to be able to do so.
< In addition, enjoyed as a reader. It was delicious to spend a few hours reading this book. It is a pleasure when it is easy to read, difficult to break away, everything is laid out on the shelves, and at the same time the texts are full of warmth and care for the reader. The book is very sincere and written with love. It's as if you hear the author's soft and encouraging voice while reading. It is full of simple and wise recommendations, useful for both adults and children.
Give this book to yourself, grandparents, mother-in-law and mother! She will be a great guide for them now and will prevent so many problems in the future. Nadezhda Rekhtina, psychologist, consultant on eating behavior
