Power attracts people like a magnet, beckons them with incredible opportunities and, sadly, often makes them forget about the responsibility that comes from power. Probably that is why, when there is even the slightest opportunity to gain power, many go for it, using any means and even shedding blood - often someone else's, but sometimes their own. This is how false rulers and impostors appear, claiming power without any reason. However, some of them - for example, Horemheb or Ise Shinkuro - come to power in a far from righteous way, do not become the worst of the rulers, and the memory of them is long remembered by grateful subjects. to power, care only for their own benefit, dreaming of wealth and honors, or, at worst, hoping at least to attract attention, as did many false-Louis XVII or false-Romanov. In any case, impersonation is a curious psychological phenomenon, so even in the 21st century it is of great interest.
