One of the most significant events that shook Europe from the beginning of the 14th to the first third of the 15th century is called the Hundred Years' War in history. The war, which began as a dynastic war between the descendants of one of the last Capetians, eventually turned into a war between nations (British and French). It was a war for control over the most economically developed centers of Europe at the time and trade flows, as customs duties on exports and imports of wool and wine accounted for a significant portion of government revenue.
