Overpopulation, depletion of resources, rising crime and terrorist threats are forcing people to build a giant interplanetary spacecraft - the solar sailboat "Star Butterfly" - and go into space in search of a better place to live. And all would be well if the saviors of mankind took into account one indisputable thing: although carefully selected, people remained human and took on the journey not only their virtues but also their shortcomings. Wars, revolutions, uprisings, betrayals, murders, epidemics - the whole history of mankind with its inherent dramas and tragedies was repeated in the microworld of the newest interplanetary ark. In the end, only two out of 144,000 were destined to see the new planet. Is it possible to create a perfect person and an ideal society if we start history from scratch?
